Since now I'm a stay at home mom, I've been trying to get out from the house and do activities outside with Carissa.
Yesterday we went to the library again, made friends with other moms & kids. After that we went back home for lunch and nap time. After nap usually I gave her a lil bit of fruits and cartoon time. Then we went to the park.
Today the baby talk program at 2pm so we didn't go since that's her nap time. Instead, we went to the Brookside Wading Pool. It's only cost $1 to get it. We met a lot of moms & their kids from our church there. It's nice to get to know them, especially since our church is huge.. so it's hard to get to know people.
After that we went to have lunch with Daddy at the union :) we ate panda express.. nummy!!!! carissa LOVES the noodles and fried rice.

Icha at the Library
Today we went to the public library, they have classes for kids. We went to the Baby Talk class. This class is a 15 minute program for pre-walkers (newborn to around a year old) and their caregivers. Each program will feature various emergent literacy skills.
It was fun, despite that Carissa wants to walk everywhere. Maybe next time I will being her to the toddler time instead.
Anyway at the library, they have toys to play with, she loves playing & walking everywhere, grabbing books, toys, waving to other kids. She does love older kids tho :D hehehe.

Happy 13 Months Baby
Today she's officially 13 months old.
Let's see what's new with her..
- she only nurse about couple times a day
- she only drinks either soy milk or strawberry milk
- words: dada, papa, mama, done, button, allo
- she likes to wear hat
- she knows how to switch hands (when she's holing onto something)
- she brushes her own teeth
- she can "communicate" pretty well with us
- she knows when it's time to go to bed, she will go to the gate on the staircase.
- she knows how to comb her hair

Hat Again
She still loves playing with hats. She will give the hat that she wants to wear to you and once you put the hat on her, she will go find the mirror and look at herself in the mirror. So cute!!!

Hat Hat Hat
Today for no reason, she found her hat from last year halloween. She brought the hat and gave it to me. So I thought, well thank you. But she took it from me and she placed it on her head, she wanted to wear it. For your information, she was not a hat girl. But not today, so I put it on her hat and I let her look at a mirror. She laughed at herself.
Then, I put a different style of hat on her, and she right away went to see herself in the mirror. Then she laughed again.. she's such a silly girl.
We went to the aquatic center again today, she actually walk around in the kiddie pool. Cute!!! but it's kinda scary since if she fell, that would not be a good thing.
Carissa will be 13 months soon here in 3 more days. The newest thing of her is, she sign pretty good. She actually can bring her empty snack trapper, and then gave it to us and then she sign more. Means she wants more snacks, or she can actually point at something and sign more when she wants it. As far as milk sign, she does it in the morning when she just woke up then when she already emptied up 1 side, she will sit next to me and point at my boob or give sign milk.. and sign more. She's so smart!!! :D
