Today Carson went to Carissa school for parent teacher conference. I had to take Carissa to her gymnastics class this morning.
Basically everything seems great considering Carissa is the youngest and the smallest little friend in her class.
She has no problem socializing with older kids and kids her own age, but she has some anger issue I guess.. I think she's just so easy to get frustrated. And the teacher emphasizing that she can't use scissors properly.. well... we never let her use scissors at home.. plus I don't think I want her to use scissors that often anyway right?
Anyway, hopefully by next year she will be much better.

Awe!! sounds like she is doing what she is supposed to be doing at preschool, socializing! I think that the parents who send their kids to preschool want to see their kids do better in school socially as well as educationally, but more or less they have already learnt all the educational stuff at home! When Caity was learning to cut with scizzors she didn't really get very good with it till the 2nd year, Ethan picked it up sooner simply because Caity had already been using them. I think you will find that Carissa will be smarter and more advanced than any other kid in her class once she hits kindergarten :) which can be great but also you will wonder if she is being challenged enough.. just something I am seeing with parents who send their kids to a preschool.
Duh...she doesn't need scissors because she does all her cutting and pasting on the computer.
If she has anger issues, and I doubt that she does, she definitely shouldn't be getting the thumbs up at home to practice with scissors, right? Ms. Preschool Teacher should be more selective with her choice of words. Shame on Ms. Preschool Teacher. Shame on her big time.
