New Playdoh toy

While Carissa napping, I took the opportunity to run some errand and stopped by at the Indonesian Garage Sale. Found a really cute playdoh toys called "Fuzzy Pampered Crazy Cut" for $5 and also I found some cute t-shirts :D hehehehe. Carissa LOVES playing with it, it's so much fun! even Carson & I love to play with it :D She loves cutting the hair most of all. :)

Carissa has been having this ups and downs in the eating department. Like yesterday she refused to eat anything beside fish crackers, milk and juice. But today, oh boy.. she ate a LOT even tonight she finished her raviolis, ate some of Carson's pasta and the bread from red lobster, still asking for apple, and then she had the fruit cup all by herself. After bath she even still drank half bottle of her milk. I guess tomorrow we will have a lil rough day feeding her... maybe.. not sure.. we'll see.

PS: Tonight was the first night that she actually got off from her big girl bed.. TWICE since she slept on the big girl bed. Hopefully she'll settle down here shortly and go night night... oo and by the way she's 23 months old now :D

Scandinavian Days Part 2

This morning was raining, but we still decided to go and thought that we would just hang out at the Latches. But at 10am the rain stopped so we actually made it to the last 1/4 of the parade. :D

After the parade, we went to have lunch at this very small but REALLY GOOD restaurant in story city called The Bistro. I love their french onion soup. Even carissa ate very good today I was surprised.

After lunch we walked around and Carissa saw clowns for the second time, she didn't scared at all. The clown made her a very cute bug balloon hat :). Overall she had a great day today we went home and she took 2.5 hrs nap :).

Scandinavian Days Part 1

This afternoon after Carson got back from work, we went to Story City for the Scandinavian Days. Since they have free train ride just for Friday. So we took advantage of that :), this time she had to go by herself.. I was kind of scared that she will panic and cried. But she did great :) she looked for us but once she saw us, she's fine :).

Tomorrow will go again for the parade and lunch with friends. :)

Wading pool fun!

Today we went to the Brookside Park from 10-12:30! wow I was so tired more than Carissa :D. She had a blast playing with water. She's such a water girl. She can play with water for hours! :)

Perfect Games

Today mommy & carissa took mommy's college friend who visited ames to all around town. We started with 10:00 picked Lenny up from Mr. Wright's house and then took her to Target & Super Wal*Mart since mommy needs to do a lil grocery shopping. After that we went to Little Taipei for lunch, after lunch we took Lenny to west ames, where the newer development and showed her the Perfect Games.

BUT Carissa had a diaper blow out, we're talking a disaster diaper blow out here... so we had to take Carissa home... gave her a bath and then we went back to the Perfect Games. Carissa loves 2 thing... the puppy house (moon bounce) and the Sponge Bob ticket game. That's it.. :D

We dropped Lenny back to Mr. Wright's house, then nap time for Carissa. She took 2 hrs nap, and then we went for a stroller walk at Ada Hayden park with Mac (Mommy's friend). After a very long walk (I will be sore for sure tomorrow), we dropped Mac off at her house and then we went home for supper. Waiting for Daddy to come home, since Carissa said she wanted to see Sponge Bob & the puppy house again. Plus Carson hasn't seen the place yet and I had to take several pictures of their facilities for their website.

After Carissa ran around and so happy to see Sponge Bob, we went home and time for her to go to bed :). Night night Icha...

PS: She loves her room so much now, she called it "Dora room" and she always wants to read and play in her room. So cute!! :)
