Well... she's been unbanned from the kitchen since she started walking.. which is 3 months ago.. and she loves helping mommy in the kitchen. Luckily most of our drawers don't have handles, so she can't pull it. But for some reason she knows how to open the lazy susan drawer. So we put child proofing stuff on some drawers, but we let her have 2 drawers that she can play with. One drawer is where I put all the baking pan and cutting board. The other one which is the Lazy susan contains canned & jar goods. She loves to play with them, but we're just worry that the can will drop on her lil feet and she will not be happy for sure.

So tonight we re-arranged our drawer, we put most of the heavy stuff at the back and put her canned good plastic toys in it. I got those from goodwill, still sealed and complete set for like 2 dollars I think :D. Isn't it so cute!!! I bet she will be so happy & excited tomorrow going thru the drawer.

Carissa Signing Baby

I bought her some dvds for Sign Language for Babies (Baby Signing Time) since we've been watching their clips from youtube and Carissa seems like them. All the songs are so fun and catchy.

Carissa has been watching the DVD for the past week I think, and there's the opening song that Carissa loves it. The lyric is "Baby.. Baby... Baby Signing Time.." and Carissa has been saying Baby.. baby.. for the past few days.. and I never thought of that DVD... but out of no where when I asked her "Carissa what's Baby?" and then she signed it right away. How cute!!!!

Today she also signed 'Cheese' she likes cheese.. and 'Doll' so 3 more new words for today!! :). I'm so proud of her.

Brief Updates

Sorry... mommy has been very busy with shoes order. Anyway since last weekend, Carissa has been a chatter box. She loves to say 'Hi' to everyone she sees. She likes to wave bye bye, her words these days are: Ball, Dada, Pappa, Hi, Puppy, Kitten, No.

Sing language that she knows so far: Milk, more, food/eat, all done, please, thank you, (new stuff) hat, shoes, brush teeth, sleepy.

We've been very busy these days, I try to manage at least making 2 pair of shoes in 1 day and still taking Carissa out for an activity and socialize with other kids.

She loves playing with water too, she always bring her shoes to me and wants me to put the shoes on her. Then she will walk towards the door... *sigh* it means she wants to dip herself in her kiddie pool.

Anyway.. that's all for now I guess.. Oooo she has total of 12 teeth i think.
