Today we woke up at 8!!! well it was because she woke up at 5:30am, so I nursed her and put her back to bed. :D
Anyway, we started our day with breakfast, soy milk & scramble egg with cheese & toast.
No idea what's going on, she rubbed her left eye a lot this morning. Either she's just got a bug bite, or something. But she didn't complain or cry. So after breakfast, she went on her morning nap.
Around 11, she woke up and then we went hunting a new play ground to play at. We found a nice play ground very clean and no one there. We stayed there for about 30 mins or so, she had her lunch at the playground.

After the playground, we went to the library again and met a new friend :) she lives close to us and she goes to our church too :D.
Went back home, put her back for a nap. She slept till 3 (tired baby), and then we went play in our backyard. Got the wheel barrel on sale at K-mart for $3. :)
After that we went to the park near our house until daddy came home from work and met us at the park. :)
It was a very fun day! :) HAPPY 888!!!

Fun Fun Fun
Since now I'm a stay at home mom, I've been trying to get out from the house and do activities outside with Carissa.
Yesterday we went to the library again, made friends with other moms & kids. After that we went back home for lunch and nap time. After nap usually I gave her a lil bit of fruits and cartoon time. Then we went to the park.
Today the baby talk program at 2pm so we didn't go since that's her nap time. Instead, we went to the Brookside Wading Pool. It's only cost $1 to get it. We met a lot of moms & their kids from our church there. It's nice to get to know them, especially since our church is huge.. so it's hard to get to know people.
After that we went to have lunch with Daddy at the union :) we ate panda express.. nummy!!!! carissa LOVES the noodles and fried rice.

Icha at the Library
Today we went to the public library, they have classes for kids. We went to the Baby Talk class. This class is a 15 minute program for pre-walkers (newborn to around a year old) and their caregivers. Each program will feature various emergent literacy skills.
It was fun, despite that Carissa wants to walk everywhere. Maybe next time I will being her to the toddler time instead.
Anyway at the library, they have toys to play with, she loves playing & walking everywhere, grabbing books, toys, waving to other kids. She does love older kids tho :D hehehe.

Happy 13 Months Baby
Today she's officially 13 months old.
Let's see what's new with her..
- she only nurse about couple times a day
- she only drinks either soy milk or strawberry milk
- words: dada, papa, mama, done, button, allo
- she likes to wear hat
- she knows how to switch hands (when she's holing onto something)
- she brushes her own teeth
- she can "communicate" pretty well with us
- she knows when it's time to go to bed, she will go to the gate on the staircase.
- she knows how to comb her hair

Hat Again
She still loves playing with hats. She will give the hat that she wants to wear to you and once you put the hat on her, she will go find the mirror and look at herself in the mirror. So cute!!!
