Ankeny Public Library

We are bored with Ames public library, so we hop to Ankeny public library. It was a nice library! Carissa had so much fun! we will go there again for sure. :)

Then we went home and daddy surprised us with some thomas & friends train toys!!! thanks daddy!!! we love u!!!

Another weekend without daddy

Vone came over in the morning, and we went to Ames mall for a lil bit. I always want a summer dress, so I finally bought one.

Then we went home for lunch and Carissa took a nap. I've told you right that when she wakes up, she likes to read books. So Vone read some books to her...

Then we went to Des Moines... did a lil shopping and then went to see The Bells..















Then after the very loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong day... we finished it off with good healthy salad and chatting on the computers :D

These past 3 days, we've been having a decent weather. Carissa LOVES to play outside, even now she already know how to say "Outside". The very first day I let her play outside, she said "side" it means she wants to go outside. The second day she kinda said "outside" but not clear.. but yesterday she's pretty clear when she wants to go outside.

So I let her play outside, but for some funny reason she always wants to eat grapes when we're sitting outside. So she will sign "grapes" and I went inside to get it.. when I came outside, there she was... sitting waiting for me...like a bigg girl.

It's amazing how when we go to the park or outside, she will actually find a place to sit when she wants to drink ot eat... Maybe it's because when I take her to the indoor playground at the city hall, I always make her sit on the bench if she wants to eat her crakers. :D

PS: she likes her grapes' skin peeled!! *sigh*

Fun Sunday!

Grandma, Auntie Erica & cousin marcus visited us today. We went on shopping spree :). Carissa had a blast with her grandma & auntie e & cousin marcus today. Thank you for visiting us!!! :)

Updates on nursery... I guess third times is a charm. When I dropped her off she wasn't happy AT ALL she was laying on the floor throwing tantrum. But after she got to her toddler room she was alright the whole time till I picked her up. :) Such a big girl!!! :)

I think she wasn't happy this morning just because I had to wake her up at 8:30am for church. Lately she's been a sleepy head.. actually I like it.

"New" Bike

"new" bike that Grandma bought her from goodwill today, we went to goodwill and she totally in love with this really old bike... hahahaha she even ride the bike around the store. Hahahaha Thanks grandma!!! :)

Being Girly

One of mommy's friends said that I always dress Carissa in pants and shirts... no skirt.. no dresses...

So.. since today is a semi nice day outside, I put on a dress on her and put legging on when we need to play outside :). She's so cute!!!

Today Carissa woke up at 9am and took almost 3 hrs nap... mommy's friends were here just hung out and watch Indonesian movie. It was fun... and I ate a lot :D

Now... 8pm and Carissa still talking in her crib... *night night baby girl*

Away from mommy

Today is the first time that I left Carissa with my best girl Elaine. She has her own in-home day care and she has a 4 yrs old daughter and 2 yrs old son. I really trust her, I hang out at her place a lot and I know that I really can trust her with Carissa.

I dropped her off at 3pm, then I went run my errands and then went home. Scrubbed all 3 bathrooms.. except the basement I didn't touch the basement at all. I did laundry (2 loads) and then vacuumed, scrubbed the stained carpet... and a LOT of cleaning.

I'm so happy that my house finally clean... I set up my alarm at 4:45pm so I can get Carissa from Elaine's place.

When I got to her place, she was all happy as always Elaine said that she cried couple times, but it wasn't a major cried. That's good. and it's good to know some stuff that she should be able to do that I didn't know. Like she supposed to be able to put away all her toys after she's done. I didn't know that!! I still helped her cleaned up and put away her toys,

So when we went home I told her to put away your shoes... and she actually did it... she put her shoes where I usually put them.. amazing I should say......

Anyway she got runny nose again *sigh* what's new huh??!! can't wait till summer is here

Now she's out.. sleeping.... time for me to make shoes...

Thanks again Elaine.... :) she's a big help since I have no one around. and now the blog is private I can tell you that Carson is going to be away till Sunday.. and then next weekend he will be gone again.. *sigh* I wish that my family lives close by......

Mommy's mac is dying

So.... maybe pictures will be posted later... mommy's mac is sick and probably won't be able to get it fix till next month or two.

Anyway, Carissa went to church with me on Sunday and she did great at the nursery. When I came to pick her up, Becky (mommy's friend who works in the nursery) gave her big thumbs up. She told me how Carissa was so good at the nursery.

I really think Cornerstone have a really good nursery system, why do I say that? Because I was there so many times to watch Carissa to get settled in. I feel comfortable leaving her there especially knowing that Becky is there to comfort her :).

Anyway... Monday was different... Carissa being grumpy and cranky and threw tantrum here and there... I thought she might either sick or teething... because she cry for no reason.. BUT last night she actually slept really good from 7 pm to 8:30am!

I even had to rush her to get ready for her music class this morning.

Thennnnnn another theory about her crankiness is growth spurt, because I realize that she's been eating more than she usually does. She even asked me "mommy... eat" she wanted to eat her lunch earlier... even after she just got done a bottle of milk an hour before lunch. Hmmm and now she's been napping almost for 2 hrs...

We'll see what's going on.. but it's about time for her to be independent.. so she can spend more time without me around.. maybe she can stay a weekend at grandma & grandpa!!

Whole Day with Daddy

Today Carissa spent the WHOLE day with daddy! I am SO proud of Carson, he actually took Icha to the kidsfest in Des Moines to meet Clifford the big red dog and then they went swimming today.

WOW!!!! I'm so proud of my dear husband! Thank you daddy-o!!! I love you! :) and I think Icha had a good time spending some quality time with her daddy.

So I bet you're asking where was I the whole day then? maybe.. anyway I was actually in Des Moines too whole day, spent some quality time with my best girl, Vone. :) We invited Ringga to come over but seems like she's too busy.

Vone and I went to a garage sale event, but nothing really left out since they started yesterday. Then we went to Hancock Fabric and I found this cute disney's cutsie appliques. After that we went to Wal*Mart to get some necessity, and I bought some plain tees for Carissa's appliques. Also Vone bought her the jumpsuit set for her, I put the piglet on it. Isn't it cute?!!! Can't wait till Carissa sees them tomorrow morning. :)





It was a fun day!!! beside it's raining all day *sigh* Thanks again daddy!! :)

Going Private

Okay... I'm not sure what got into me these past weeks... I feel like I just want to hide from the cyber world, and take my family life with me.

Busy Busy but Wonderful Day

Yesterday was a very busy & nice day. Daddy came home for lunch and took Carissa to the park, while mommy cooked and cleaned and took a shower. After lunch, Carissa went for a nap. She took almost 2 hrs nap, even mommy had to wake her up because we had 2 playdates yesterday.

First we went to Ada Hayden park for a stroller ride with Jenni & Ben from Kindermusik moms group. It was a gorgeous day! LOVE IT! it was nice, not too hot and not too windy & cold.

Then off we went to Jo-Ann's fabric to get more materials for the babyshoes order.

After that we went to play a lil bit at the Brookside park with Liz and Alexander until around 5. Then we went to see Daddy at his office :).

What a busy & wonderful day!!! Hopefully today will be as nice as yesterday!! :)
